Ubisoft Minor, DreamHack Valencia 2019 ended with Rogue clinching the title in a very dominant fashion. The American team defeated Looking For Org in Grand Final 2-0 to win their first title this year.

Group Stage

In the Group Stage, Rogue faced Natus Vincere in the first round. Rogue successfully opened the match on Consulate (7-5), but NaVi bounced back on Villa (7-4). The final leg took place on Kafe Dostoyevsky where Rogue had a convincing result on Defending side. Later on, they crushed NaVi with scoreline 7-3. In the following round, Rogue cruised over LFO on Coastline (7-4) and Clubhouse (8-6). Hence, they joined 7 other teams in Play-offs.

From their group (Group B), the second team that advanced further was eventual runner-up, Looking For Org. Chaos Esports Club topped Group A, followed by PENTA, Team SoloMid ended as the first team in Group C with Team Reciprocity just below them, and FaZe Clan and Team Vitality were on top in Group D.

In Play-offs, Rogue lost the map only in the Quarter-finals. There, they faced Team Reciprocity. The match kicked off on Coastline where Reciprocity dismantled Rogue (7-2). However, DreamHack Valencia 2019 champions managed to come back on Kafe Dostoyevsky (7-5) and Clubhouse (8-6) although they had to dig very deep. In the Semi-final, Rogue didn’t drop a map against Chaos Esports Club, but Chaos made them work really hard to proceed to Grand Final. In the end, Rogue prevailed on Kafe Dostoyevsky (8-7) and Consulate (8-6) to book another meeting with Looking For Org.

In the match for 3rd place, FaZe Clan bested Chaos Esports Club (8-6, 7-3) to take $8,000 home. In the Grand Final of DreamHack Valencia, we saw relatively easy victory on the first map, Bank for Rogue (7-4). However, the second leg was much more intense and Rogue managed to remain the last team standing to secure the triumph and the very first title this year. In addition to that, they will take $30,000 home.
