Eight CS:GO teams are ready to kick off at Berlin 2019 Americas CS:GO Minor and start competing for only two spots at Berlin Major this year. Here, you can read more about the format and schedule of this event.


Berlin 2019 Americas Minor is only one of four Minors that are kind of qualification tournaments for upcoming Major in Berlin. Eight teams are going to take part in Americas Minor. Six of them are coming from the North American region, and the rest are South American teams.

They will be separated into two different GSL groups. There, they will play for four spots in Play-offs. The best two teams from each group will proceed further. The Play-offs have Double-Elimination Bracket, which gives two chances to each team.

There are many valuable things on the line in Berlin 2019 Americas Minor. First of all, the prize pool for this event is going to be $50,000, which of winner takes $30,000. The runner-up will earn $15,000, and the third team will win $5,000. As you can see the other teams won’t earn a single cent. However, the bigger motive for teams are seeds in New Challenger Stage of Major in Berlin. The best two teams will go directly to the Major, whereas the third one will have to play one additional, Play-In event.


This Minor will kick off on July 17th. The first two matches will start off at 10:00 CEST. The next two matches will follow up at 11:15 CEST. NRG and FURIA will have an opportunity to open the Berlin 2019 Americas Minor against One and INTZ. The following two matches are going to be Team Singularity vs Sharks and eUnited vs Luminosity Gaming.

At the moment, we know about four stream channels in total that will broadcast games from this event. Two of them are in English, and the other two are in Russian.
