PLAYING IRREGULARLY: I've played the Palladium system years ago, but am interested in joining a D&D game.
FAVOURITE SYSTEMS/GENRES: D&D - know the basics from PC games and books, but never played a real life table top game.
WISH LIST:
NOTES: I would love to play with a group of mature players who wouldn't mind someone who's a little green. I can pick things up pretty quickly, and have always been a big fan of fantasy/ sci-fi stuff. I smoke, but only outside. I don't drink, but don't mind if others do. Mostly I'm looking for a group that's fun, flexible, and patient.

LOCATION: Coquitlam, near Burquitlam, so both Coquitlam and Burnaby are good, maybe New West. Bus fares are not a problem right now since I have a U-Pass.

OPEN GAMING TIME: Right now, I can do Friday and Saturday. Technically, I could do Thursday, but I'd rather leave that open for homework. This all could change next semester.

FAVOURITE SYSTEMS/GENRES: I like fantasy and sci-fi, and things in-between. I've played Pathfinder, D&D3.5e, and Spirit of the Century to any extent. Pathfinder would be the preferred system of the three. D&D4e can be tolerable if houseruled sufficiently - mostly just replacing daily attack powers with something encounter-based. I would be willing to try other things, though not WoD. Tried that once. Discovered I don't like dice pools.
WISH LIST: I have Wild Talents 2nd Edition, but have never played it, and would like to try it sometime. (Yes, I know it has dice pools, but with the hard and wiggle dice it should not be horrible.)
NOTES: I do not smoke or drink, and would prefer those absent from the table. Though, smoking could be tolerable as long as it is kept outside; drinking as long as it is light, like people aren't getting actually drunk. I am, believe it or not, something of both a roleplayer and a power gamer. I like roleplaying, the acting, if I can get into it well enough - which has been something of a problem, but so far I've only played online. I'm hoping that meatspace will help with that. If you let me, I will probably try to powergame if I can be bothered to, but simply informing me if you do not want that will suffice to stop it. My playstyle has been described by my friends as 'blasty'.
