Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a regular D&D 5e group to join. I've played D&D for a couple of years now and immediately fell in love. I've never dm'd (though the idea is intriguing), so I'm looking to be a player in a campaign.

I work Mon-Fri, so I would prefer to play on weekends or Friday nights. I really like games that have a heavier emphasis on story and character development over combat. I'm able to travel anywhere in Vancouver or surrounding area by bus, but I don't have a suitable space to host.

I'm looking for others who are willing to commit to a scheduled, regular game, with a great attitude, and looking to make new friends and build a story together!

A bit about me: 25, corporate communications professional, outside of gaming I enjoy writing, reading, and cooking.

Hello Jen,

I belong to a group of five players between the ages of 21 and 46 looking for a gamer who would be comfortable playing an advanced D&D character in a 5th edition game.

My group lost one of our regular players to a move recently and so we have started canvasing for a replacement. We are looking for somebody who can commit to one game a week (typically Sunday). Life intervenes sometimes, and we get that, but our group comes with perks! Some standard. Some unusual.

1. We have not one, but two talented bakers in the group who spoil us rotten.
2. We have a brewer of authentic ginger beer, root beer, and other grogs in the group.
3. We have a published writer for Wizards of the Coast who DMs the sessions for our group.
4. We have a reliable location to play (Kitsilano/Kerrisdale area) near multiple sources of gourmet and junk food.
5. We make sure everybody gets a ride home if they don't own transportation, but are frequently picked up as well.

This group loves to role-play and prefers story to rules. We follow the rules to the best of our ability, but rarely check at the table (if we can help it). Cooperative storytelling is encouraged and narrative flow is everything!

If you are interested and it sounds like we might be a good fit in your schedule, let me know. I hope to hear from you soon.
