I fixed it and added it to the calender... Wink
What time are you starting?

I'm running some LFR on Saturday at Trumps Salute, but could be interested in playing...
If there's still room by Sunday I'll join... let the new folks have first crack Wink

Did I put the wrong date? Oops.

Also, I hate to be a beggar, but I hope someone who ends up playing has some monster minis I can use. I'm going to check with Rida at Connections to see if the store has some available for use.

Any suggestions for module? Otherwise I'll pick something tomorrow so I have some time to read it.

I have a small collection of minis, that can probably do for most of the level 1-4 stuff we might face (I hope).  Best to check with Rida too but I'll bring what I have.

Where's Trumps Salute at?

Trumpeters Salute Info Thread
It's at Bonsor Community Center near Metrotown

Regarding Minis... A good investment for aspiring DM's is Fiery Dragons Counters.
Folks have probably seen me use them for minions.
They have collections for the entire heroic level of both Monster Manuals.
You can order direct or I believe Cravings and Imperial have them, probably Connections can get them.
Cheaper solution and easy to carry around Wink

Hey there,

I'm interested in playing too (and my son is a 'maybe'), but I'm a total noob at regarding the LFR.

Will there be a RPGA registration form for me to fill out when I show up?

I'm assuming that I'll have to make my character beforehand. I presume it'll be 1st level, and FR legal?

Hi Void,

Noobs are welcomed (monsters find noobs more tender than gristled veterans).

There is no form that you need to fill out. You will receive a card that will provide your RPGA number, and all your RPGA details can be taken care of online.

Yes you should make your character beforehand. Yes, a 1st level FR legal character. The following link:

http://www.wizards.com/dnd/Event.aspx?x=dnd/4new/event/rpgadownloads

will take you to the D&D downloads page. You'll want the Character Creation Guide v1.95 and RPGA Session Tracking form. Two other files worth checking out are the 2008 D&D Reward Cards and the 2009 D&D Reward Cards. You can print those out and bring them with you to use in the game.

If you use a Windows PC, then you might want to download the Character Builder software:

http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/tool/characterbuilder/DDI_CB.exe

It is free to try and is good up to level 3, and is a quick way to make a character.

So bring your character sheet, bring some dice, and bring your imagination. We'll help with rules. Hope to see you and your son.
