Love Middle Earth? You may be into this campaign.

A mature, 25+, gamer may enjoy this campaign that follows Tolkein's world as closely as possible. If you enjoy roleplaying and combat more than straight hack and slash; and if you enjoy a complex, challenging plot line based in fantastic Middle Earth, rather than one that focusses on jumping from one dungeon to another with no storyline in an unimaginative, sterile world, this may be the campaign for you. I use modified Rolemaster/MERP to limit the rules and increase playability ten fold, while keeping the incredible realism. I play in Vancouver and we are looking for a player who would like to play once a week or every other week, preferably at night, as we all lead busy lives.

I would love to play in a game like this. I am a huge Tolkien fan, though I never got the chance to play MERP (I tried GMing a game using the Decipher rules but it didn''t last). That said, I pick up new systems pretty fast. I live in East Van near Renfrew.
